Add this delicious salad to your table at your next get together. Octopus and chickpeas offer a delicious protein within salad, and all the fresh ingredients add beautiful colour.

Ingredients:
1 bag Toppits Cooked Octopus
1 can chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup red onion
2 cups cherry tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup fresh basil
3/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
Dressing:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Feta cheese
Directions:
Thaw the octopus per instructions on the bag. Once thawed, pat dry. Dice into 1/2 pieces.
Place the octopus, chickpeas, red onion, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper and basil in a bowl and gently toss to combine.
Add dressing mix to the bowl. Mix well so everything is coated. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well again. Serve immediately.
